1. Make sure you are login to your chrome browser, click on the nine square on the upper right side and choose account option from the popup page

2. Choose security option and click on the recovery phone 

3. It will ask you to login again to confirm the right owner of the account

4. Click on the Pen or pencil logo to edit and add your new preferred number

5. Enter your new number and click update text under update number
6. A code will be sent to your new number by clicking on the get code text

7. Get the code sent to your contact number and add/enter to verify
