How to turn off DM on Twitter

A guide on how to turn off DM Twitter notifications with instructions to make the process simple and easy for anyone to follow along to it. For mobile or phone version


1. Login to your account and click on DP/profile

2. A page will slide in from the left side, scroll down and choose settings and privacy option

3. Under settings and privacy choose privacy and safety

4. Click on the Direct Messages option

5. Push all the three buttons to the left side to turn off DM

OR

For read receipts, turn off the second/middle show read receipts

HOW TO TURN DM ON TWITTER


Here is how to turn on DM Twitter notifications and it is similar to turning off but will do the opposite for a few options

1. Login to your account and click on your DP/profile

2. Scroll down and choose Settings and privacy from the page which slide in from the left side

3. Choose privacy and safety under settings and privacy

4. Click on direct messages under privacy and safety

5. To turn on push both the button option on the right side
